Service Description: Dynamic Series of layers from Hurricane Matthew in Central Virginia Beach, VA, Driven by Dr. Loftis at VIMS' (W&M) Street Level Hydrodynamic Model from 00:00-23:00 UTC on 10/9/2016. Model used spatially-varying rainfall inputs supplied by 21 rain gauges (12 of HRSD's and 9 from the City of Virginia Beach's), spatially varying soil infiltration defined by 1m resolution land cover data and 6 USGS groundwater wells similar to Loftis et al.'s publication in the Journal of Coastal Research (2016), and tidal (Dirichlet) open boundary conditions provided by 3 USGS tide gauges near the edges of the domain's extent.
