description: The 1937/1938/1949 shoreline was digitzed from historic aerial photography that were orthorectified in ERDAS by the Shoreline Studies Program and the 2009 and 2017 shorelines was digitized from the Virginia Base Mapping Program (VBMP) orthophotography for Chesapeake Bay region in Virginia. The digital orthophotography was acquired and processed by VBMP. Localities included are Accomack, Northampton, City of Virgnia Beach, City of Norfolk, City of Hampton, Gloucester, Middlesex, Mathews,Northumberland and Northampton. 2009 was digitized and EPR calculated for all counties and up the rivers and creeks. 2017 the bayside and main rivers were digitized and EPR calculated.The other areas are in progress.
